Michael Roof was born November 20, 1917, to Richard and Adele (nee Meyer) Frankel in Chicago, Illinois. He died peacefully at his home on May 29, 2017 after a series of strokes. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Virginia (Casey) Frankel.
